Kitchen Pods

Home » Kitchen Pods

At Hydrodiseño we produce modular kitchen pods that contain all the essential components of a kitchen in a single module of concrete, steel, ultra-lightweight or wooden structure. We work with our patented CUBIK® Concrete, CUBIK® Steel and CUBIK® Wood designs.

Our modular kitchens can be easily installed in a variety of spaces, such as offices, hotels or other commercial or residential establishments. Although these modular pods are mass-produced with an off-site construction process, our kitchens are perfectly customisable to suit our customer’s requirements.

Concrete Kitchen Pods

Lastest Kitchen Pods Projects

Hydrodiseño has worked with various promoters to offer our modular kitchen solutions in a variety of hotel, residential and hospital projects, among others. We manufacture taking care of every detail in the design of a kitchen and its assembly in the final location. Here we present our most recent projects:

What is a Kitchen Pod?

A prefabricated kitchen or kitchen pod is one that is pre-produced in a factory or controlled environment and then transported to the final installation site. They can be fully equipped with plumbing, electrical and ventilation systems, as in the case of Hydrodiseño, and include prefabricated components such as cabinets, worktops, and other accessories.

Prefabricated modular kitchens are becoming increasingly popular because of their versatility, ease of installation, cost savings without compromising on quality and efficiency. They can be used in small spaces where traditional kitchens are not viable, for outdoor kitchens that take advantage of the benefits offered by outdoor spaces or in commercial environments where temporary or mobile kitchens are needed.

In the case of Hydrodiseño’s modular kitchens, we design using high technology and 3D modelling to be able to adjust to the most demanding requirements of our clients.

For the Hydrodiseño team it is essential that all specifications for each of our modular kitchen projects are clearly defined and communicated to ensure a successful design, manufacturing, and installation process. Among the main requirements are:

1. Size and layout:

The dimensions and layout of the prefabricated kitchen, including the overall size, configuration and arrangement of cabinets, countertops, appliances, and other accessories, are important specifications to be determined based on the available space and desired design.

2. Selection of materials:

The materials used in modular construction are important specifications that determine the durability, aesthetics, and functionality of the kitchen. Material selection may include options such as wood, laminate, stainless steel, among others, determined by the desired design and budget.

3. Appliances and accessories:

The type, brand and specifications of appliances and accessories included in the prefabricated modular kitchen, such as refrigerator, oven, cooktop, sink, faucet, and lighting fixtures, should be specified according to the desired functionality and performance of the kitchen.

4. Electrical and plumbing requirements:

The electrical and plumbing requirements for the modular kitchen, including the location of electrical outlets, switches and plumbing connections for appliances and accessories, must be specified to ensure proper installation and functionality of the kitchen.

5. Finishes and colours:

Kitchen finishes and colours, including cabinet colour, worktop colour, backsplash design and other decorative elements, are essential to achieve the desired aesthetics and style of the kitchen.

6. Quality control and testing:

Like our modular bathrooms pods, our prefabricated kitchen solutions conform to specifications related to quality assurance and testing, such as third-party certifications.

7. Installation and assembly:

Installation and assembly specifications for the kitchen, including assembly instructions and any additional tools or equipment required, must be provided to ensure a smooth and efficient installation at the final site.

8. Budget and schedule:

The budget and schedule for the kitchen pods project, including cost estimates, payment terms and project timeline, needs to be specified to ensure proper planning, coordination, and execution by the Hydrodiseño team.
